Make sure your voter registration is up to date. If you previously registered to vote with the same name and Boonton Township address, you do not need to take action.
Check the New Jersey voter registration database if you recently moved and are unsure if your registration is up to date.
Register to vote or update your information, including a legal name or address change, on the state voter information portal by October 13.
REMEMBER: Children who are 18 and older and away at college can vote too!

If you are turned away at your polling place for any reason, ask for a provisional ballot. This preserves your right to vote. Your provisional ballot will be counted after officials confirm your eligibility.

Some voters have asked that a Vote By Mail ballot be sent to them automatically for all elections.
Check your Vote By Mail status by contacting the Election Office at elections@co.morris.nj.us.
Apply for a Vote By Mail ballot if you aren’t already scheduled to automatically receive one. To receive a ballot in the mail, your application in English or Spanish must arrive at the County Clerk’s Office no later than Tuesday, October 27.
To receive a ballot in person, go to the County Clerk’s Election Division by 3 p.m. on Monday, November 2 and ask for a Vote By Mail application.
Mail your ballot by the day of the election! All mailed ballots must be postmarked by Tuesday, November 3 or delivered to a drop box or turned in at the County Clerk’s office.
Mail-in ballots cannot be submitted at polling places.
